Sometimes and I believe especially when you are self-employed things don't go your way. That feeling came over me when I was in the process of creating this painting and another created at the same time. That other I called NO, NOTHING. It was August 2016 and some art shows in California hadn't worked at all - and suddenly I had NO STRUCTURE and NO, NOTHING in my life...

Bjorn Sjogren is an experimented artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Sweden. In the 1980s, he began with the principle of building an image using lines, waves, and dots. By placing the title below the composition as a guide, Sjogren encouraged viewers to create their own interpretations. His multi-layered abstractions are painted using acrylics and are created only when the mood takes him.
