1999/Bring some bread
Bring some bread - that's what we used to say to each other in childhood when someone ran home. There was almost no money, we spent whole days on the street and it was a great happiness if someone took out a piece of black bread or a glass of water.
Back in those days, many stores accepted empty beer bottles for recycling and with the money accumulated in this way it was possible to buy something cheap but tasty - for example,… chewing gum "love is" or "chupa chups". It's sad, but not only children collected bottles - many old people and war veterans lived their lives like that.
Slogans of the 90s, scratches from keys, lines from songs of those times, strange primitive graffiti, faded inscriptions that someone tried so vainly to wipe off.
To create this picture, I moved to 1999, to my entrance and added a little Blame, as dirty, fast and careless as everything that is written on the walls.

Blame Hooky is an artist based in Russia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Having worked on a cathedral that was destroyed during WWII, he was fascinated by how artisti restore icons and interiors, which motivated him to attend art school. Hooky's bold and vivid compositions are created on surfaces that are similar to building walls. He often employs oils on canvas, favoring smudging and scratching techniques.
