In my work, I express a passionate longing for beauty and purity through the play of vibrant colors and dynamic textures. In this painting, I combine the fairytale world, childhood memories, with a contemporary theme (paradise lost). Thus, I create a bridge from the past to the present. It is an acknowledgement of reality with adult experience and a play with imagination.
The painting was applied in multiple layers with a pasty layer of paint, creating a three-dimensional effect. The canvas is stretched on a sturdy XXL stretcher frame.
