About this artwork
In this diptych, I explore contrasts and transitions. The vibrant lifeguard tower, a beacon of vigilance and safety, stands against a serene beachscape in one panel. In the other, the mood shifts to a deeper, brooding seascape that hints at the unseen depths of the ocean. Through oil I juxtapose the calmness of daylight with the mystery of the night, inviting viewers to reflect on the dualities that shape our experiences and perceptions.
