About this artwork
This work is from my New 'Earth Elements Series' created during the Covid pandemic.
Building on concepts from the "Wall Series' where barriers set up amongst the changing rules for social interaction and communication, a more holistic interpretation based on ancient colours used to define the worlds base elements has been incorporated into the theme. Confusion, being trapped and cornered and the disturbing angst I have been feeling has been recorded.…
Using walls as a metaphor and design feature, these artworks invoke the emotions that we are subjected to.
These works are a challenge to make, as once set down and adhered to the panels, there’s no possibility of amending them.
Using colourfast and acid free paper, vinyl and other materials mounted on dibond panels, these works are framed with an acid free front mount and back panel in an oak wooden frame with hooks for hanging. All works are sent wrapped in bubble wrap and in a sturdy cardboard box to its new home.

« I create colorful abstractions depicting real and imagined places using color, texture, and precision. I can't wait to get into the studio every day! »
Brian Reinker's artistic focus centralizes on abstracted urban environments and landscapes. The American painter, who resides in the United Kingdom, explores varying themes through series. Reinker's works explore building facades, as well as abstracted horizontal and vertical landscapes, in an effort to 'simplify and distill the views and emotional content'. His paintings and collages are created on paper and metal.
