About this artwork
Rainbow colours and flags have been used for a number of emblems. Recently for the NHS in the UK and for many years as a Pride symbol. During these dark times, I wanted to use the colours and intentions of the rainbow flag to brighten up our lives and this series explores the abstraction of this.
Continuing with the use of paper, layered onto board, these works try to capture the essence, mood and feeling of the subject with lines of colour and… texture.
The works are framed with an acid-free front mount and back panel in an oak wood frame with hooks for hanging. The art is shipped in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box.
These are original works, signed and dated on the reverse.
