About this artwork
During the current Covid 19 crisis, I have been fortunate enough to be able to work and was casting my mind to past travels. These works are inspired by car and train travel through southern France and England, the "woosh" of speed and impressions of the landscape.
Continuing with the use of paper, foil and vinyl layered onto Dibond panels, these works try to capture the essence, mood and feeling of the subject with lines of colour and texture.…
The works are framed with an acid-free front mount and back panel in an oak wood frame with hooks for hanging. The art is shipped in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box.
These are original works, signed and dated on the reverse.

« I create colorful abstractions depicting real and imagined places using color, texture, and precision. I can't wait to get into the studio every day! »
Brian Reinker's artistic focus centralizes on abstracted urban environments and landscapes. The American painter, who resides in the United Kingdom, explores varying themes through series. Reinker's works explore building facades, as well as abstracted horizontal and vertical landscapes, in an effort to 'simplify and distill the views and emotional content'. His paintings and collages are created on paper and metal.
