About this artwork
The story of Gideon who was up against an uncountable enemy (The Midianites). God asked the least of the least (tribe and family) to lead and let the glory be to God. He amassed an army of 32,000 and the Lord said there was too many. He asked if anyone was afraid and 22,000 men left. 10,000 men left and God said there was too many. He had a test at the rivers edge who drank with their hands and those that didn’t. Only 300 were left. They had a jar…
in one hand with a torch hidden it and a trumpet in the other. The lights on the hills are showing groups of 5 men standing together (total of 300). When Gideon gave the word they all broke their jars and the torches lit the darkness. They are blew their trumpets and charged the camp. The Midianites were so terrified they took their own army out! The triumph was all due to God.
No one is too small or too weak to God. .

« If I don’t create I am a different person. Someone I can’t relate with. Art makes me whole, and it flows out of me. »
