This painting was commissioned for a North American contemporary restaurant chain. Their interiors are very industrial, large with super high ceilings. This painting adds a great punch of vibrancy and energy to their interiors dark color palette. I love to add text in my work, either under layers or in the foreground, especially words that offer inspiration and adds to the abstract landscape. quite overwhelming however when I step back and look at the entire picture, the bigger picture I can see the beauty clearly. That concept appears in most of my expressive work.
