About this artwork
The " Infinity Infinities" are a mediation on how connected I feel we all are. By using hand-painted infinity symbols and abstract shapes. Exploring the infinite tapestry of life, some threads are closely connected, others are on the far end of the tapestry yet it is all one. When my eldest son was just 18months old he would blissfully sing to me, 'infinity mommy infinity!"
Since my earliest memories, I often find myself reflecting on infinity.… This series emerged during the process of a solo road trip from Toronto Canada, to Los Angeles. Exactly one year after I spent 2 months on the incredible island of Bali where I made my first silver ring... an infinity symbol ring. These paintings express my journey in an abstracted metaphorical way. How I feel about this world and my experiences are within all of my work. What I am feeling and mediating on always finds its way into each shape and symbol.
