About this artwork
The vibrant colors and dynamic lines reflect the power of the music—fortissimo—which is further emphasized by the treble clef. The powerful vitality of the music, which I experience while painting in my studio, now invites the viewer to delve into its deeper layers. At the time I created this painting, I particularly enjoyed listening to Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring," both the orchestral version and the piano arrangement by Fazil Say.
