About this artwork
I created this work with passion and fervor, using acrylic and tempera to express the emotional contrasts we experience in life. Abstraction is an invitation to introspection. I let the play of light and shadow envelop the observer in an embrace, giving energy and spiritual resonance to the domestic environment.

« "I am not an artist but a performer of myself." »
Bruno Biondi has displayed his paintings in numerous solo exhibitions throughout his native Italy and Poland. Colorblind at birth, it wasn’t until his artistic style transformed from figurative to informal that he realized how integral color was to his work and that he could not avoid it. Vertical signs are carved and imprinted in each of his pieces, which are all entitled ‘Vertical Concept”. Biondi imbues these symbols with the significance of stability and self-confidence in uncertain times.
