About this artwork
With their elongated leaves and three-petaled flowers, irises rocked my childhood in Provence in the south of France. Not a bank or a grove without irises, white, blue, purple. In spring as in summer, the iris blooms is the sign of spring which is there in its force and all its vigor. In the garden, in front of our house, they stood out for their upright, linear, graphic foliage and, above all, for a wild and free posture.

« The work of the artist is to find cohesion with space and time. Shapes and colors are nothing more than what our senses are actually able to perceive. »
