About this artwork
After the Union Stockyards closed in the 1970s, Tyson kept the racket going by vertically integrating the chicken industry over many decades… and mistreating their farmers in the process. The system had farmers competing against each other, and Tyson allegedly altered the quality of feed provided to run an unwanted farmer out of business. They also ducked industry standards, which had mainly applied to beef slaughterhouses, so quality, base pay, and market price were likely corrupt. Just keep on juggling those tennis balls.

« "The more you do, the less you wait", my style is constantly evolving with each new piece I create. »
Bumpy Wilson (b. 1995) is a Chicago, based Contemporary Artist who creates highly personal paintings that assert his unique style somewhere between Pop Minimalism and Magical Surrealism. His oeuvre is subtly culled from the art world itself and most notably depicts cows, basketball hoops, and seemingly random objects. Through his art, he is able to evoke puns as art forms, providing a play on words for his ever-expanding discursive material.
