About this artwork
In this work, I used fluid lines to evoke a controlled explosion of emotions. The shades of black, gold, copper, and silver convey both the blossoming of this unusual plant and my own. The seed buried in black earth nevertheless manages to give birth to this plant, and also to allow it to flourish towards the light and the mineral strength of precious metals. These leaves could also represent the living fire that each of us carries deep within.
