About this artwork
This work tells the story of the layers of time, as if matter itself held in memory the passages of the world.
The lines, resembling fossilized undulations, evoke buried landscapes, mineral veins or the imprints of an ancient memory that nature has patiently sculpted.
She speaks of the raw beauty of invisible traces, of what we sense without being able to explain it.
Each relief becomes a luminous scar, a breath engraved in the depths of warm,… mineral hues.
Through my works, I invite the viewer to lose themselves in these intimate geographies, to search for forgotten stories or to project their own onto them, as if each canvas opened a door to a secret fragment of the universe.

Caelys (born Céline Sicre) is a French artist whose work explores abstraction as a plunge into the heart of inner landscapes. Her universe is built around textures, contrasts, and luminous vibrations, revealing spaces where emotion becomes matter.
With a background in cabinetmaking and crafts, she has developed a unique relationship with materials: reliefs, chromatic variations, fluidity, and controlled movements intertwine to give rise to compositions that are both sensitive and powerful. Each work is born from a subtle dialogue between control and spontaneity, intuition and depth.
Caelys' work invites contemplation. Her canvases open pathways to emotional landscapes, imbued with calm, introspection, and intimate resonances.
