About this artwork
A cloud dweller, like a tribesman of the modern city, simultaneously a part of it and apart, it is only from this vantage point that it is possible to obtain a sense of the whole. The state, like the constant flux of cloud formations, is like a visual whisper that can only be glimpsed in part, elusive and vanishing at the moment one thinks one has a sense of it.

« I am always looking at cities because they are like visual manifestations of collective consciousness, bedrocks for my imagining civilization reconnected to the nature from which it emerged. »
Caio Locke is an experienced artist based in the United Kingdom whose paintings have been exhibited in England and the United States. In addition, his art has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The London Economic, The Times, etc. Locke describes his works as representing a synthesis between interior and exterior worlds, a place of reconciliation that sits between inner wonder and outer reality, as well as infinite space and the finite.
