About this artwork
enamored came about through my usual process of opening and allowing what wants to come through to land on the canvas. this one however, became more defined than most of my other co-creations so far. i could not deny the characters that wanted to be seen; bunny pup on the right, dancing black jaguar woman with a heart for head in the center, and the multi-being - baby/lioness/hunter/enamored avatar - on the left. i became so enamored with bunny…
pup that i had him made into a stuffed toy.
in crafting this piece, i employed bold contrasts of black and white flashe (an über matte vinyl paint), to delve into the realms of surrealism and abstraction. this artwork evokes the dance between visibility and obscurity, presence and absence, challenging the viewer to contemplate the fluid boundaries of perception and identity. designed to evoke emotion, it imbues any space with a profound, philosophical essence that stimulates introspection and dialogue.

Schumacher's practice embodies the beliefs she lives — that love is the life force creating all; everything fundamentally the same energy, infinitely expressed. She calls this Love In All Its Frequencies – LIAIF – indefinable by nature, always in service to love's evolution.
She enters each creative process with prayer and surrender, allowing her body to be the instrument through which LIAIF creates. Nothing is withheld. What moves through her body in the making is often unbearable. What arrives on the canvas is beauty. She has come to understand this as the meaning of alchemy: through allowing, lead becomes gold. In a world drowning in pain it cannot process, reason through, justify or repair, she offers this as a possibility – when we turn towards what is here, transformation naturally occurs.
Her paintings carry a Rorschach-like quality, every viewer seeing something different. In this way, the paintings remain alive, becoming uniquely personal in the eye of each beholder.
