About this artwork
Through the world of Japanese prints, the artist revisits the codes of exercise with today's techniques by illustrating a character who evolves in a floating world. Calypso de Sigaldi has created by a digital assembly of several photos which she then takes again by hand using acrylic paint, lacquers and gilding, a fantasized and marvelous landscape where she transfigures the emotion of the character.
