About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to capture the vibrant and lush essence of nature, using acrylics and oil pastels to create a flow of green energy. The Jabuticabeira is a widespread tree in Brazil, with purple, almost black fruits growing from its trunk. Each brushstroke expresses the vitality hidden in the leaves and fruit, evoking a sense of rebirth and abundance. When you look at it, you feel a fresh energy that transforms the space it occupies, bringing… life and harmony.
This work is on display in Brazil until January 2026.
Camila is a Brazilian abstract artist whose work is deeply inspired by the organic rhythms and vibrant energy of nature. Her paintings explore the connection between color, movement, and emotion, often evoking the vitality and serenity found in the lush landscapes of Brazil's Atlantic Forest.
Art has been a part of her life from an early age — her grandfather was also a painter — and creativity has always guided her path. This artistic sensitivity now finds expression on canvas, where acrylics, oil pastels, and mixed media come together in fluid, intuitive forms.
Having lived and studied abroad, Camila draws from a wide range of cultural experiences that enrich her visual language. Her works have been exhibited in Brazil and internationally, inviting viewers to reconnect with the natural world and the silent energy that flows through it.
