About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the raw energy and freedom of movement through intertwined, semi-abstract forms. I used acrylics to create a vibrant palette that conveys passion and dynamism. Intense red envelops the figures, making emotion and vital force stand out, filling any space with its intense presence and rhythm.
Camille Oudinot, a Buenos Aires native with an artist father, works primarily in acrylic on large canvases, shaped by years of intuitive self-teaching and mentorship with Juan Astica. Her gestural style employs layered, textured brushwork, embracing accidents and favoring bodies that merge with their environments in a state of emergence or disappearance. Her paintings evoke a visceral sense of connection—viewers feel the weight, movement, and warmth of bodies dissolving into their surroundings, communicating emotion in a way that is both intimate and transformative.
