About this artwork
In this creation, I explored the profound depths of emotion and raw earthiness by blending acrylics with charcoal and sand’s gritty texture. My hands moved with intention over the canvas, infusing it with oil pastels to capture the vibrant, yet fleeting, hues of twilight. This piece encapsulates a moment of serene contemplation, mirroring the eternal dance between day and night. Its placement in your home will introduce a calm, reflective atmosphere,… inviting viewers to pause and immerse themselves in its tranquil energy.
Art is an adventure for me—a call to the unknown, a chance to create worlds that cannot be seen with the natural eye. It’s about diving in, daring, and trusting the process. I work very intuitively, without much planning, jumping into the flow and seeing where it takes me. Sometimes the journey leads me quickly to a safe harbor, while other times I find myself tossed around by the wind for a long time before I reach the destination. But it's always about trusting the process, having the courage to let go. In the end, we can't control life, just as we can't control art. I believe art calls forth that invisible and unknown part of us, which is often scary but ultimately rewarding if we dare to take the journey.
