About this artwork
This piece of art work was inspire by a book of Japanese Samurai warriors and Japanese art. I am fascinated with Japanese prints and Japanese art. In this piece I focused on the expression in their face features, on the details in their clothing, their weapons, and outlines to bring out more on the painting. I wanted to create a piece of art work where I can also see myself in the emotional part as well. I used yellow, green, and pink acrylic outlining…
in deep dark blue to bring out emotion. I find this work quite unique with full of expression and simple colors.
