About this artwork
"MINIO" is a photographic work from the “Mina de Texturas” series, which was created using mobile and ephemeral paintings, which were later destroyed. Carmen used salts, crystals and filtration media such as sand or anthracite used in the desalination of sea water to create textures. In this piece, the ochre and orange tones recall the warmth of minium, highlighting the material richness of the composition.
