« My work reflects my lifelong study of the human as well as the wolf, an animal that has been haunting me as far back as I can remember. »
Carmit Levy is a painter and sculptor based in Israel whose works have been exhibited both nationally and in the United States. For her, art is a necessity in order to translate her feelings on a daily basis. While Levy's figurative works often portray the human figure and florals, she is especially fascinated by the wolf. Her expressive painterly compositions are created using oils, acrylics, and oil pastels on canvas. Whereas her sculptures are made with wood and silver.
