In meinem Bild No Less geht es um das Halten und Bewahren - um das Maß dessen, was bleibt, wenn nichts mehr hinzugefügt werden kann.Ich sehe das Gefäß als inneren Raum, als Symbol für das was sich nicht vergießen lässt.Darüber öffnet sich ein großes Auge - wie ein Bewusstsein,das alles sieht, was in diesem Gefäßenthalten ist: Erinnerungen, Gefühle, Tiefe.
Rechts erscheint eine Frau mit einer Hand und einen Vogelschnabel aif dem Kopf. Sie umschließt… das Gefäß, so als wollte sie es beschützen und gleichzeitig befreien.
Ich habe das Bild fast ausschließlich mit Gold, Blau und Schwarz gemalt.Die Linien kreisen- verflechten sich, überschneiden sich-wie Gedanken, die sich nicht halten lassen.
