About this artwork
This work uses acrylic paints to explore deep, mystical shadow worlds that are punctuated by a bright turquoise that acts like a mysterious, illuminating light. This composition reflects the constant interplay between darkness and light that shapes our inner and outer world. It is an invitation to face the dark sides while recognizing the light that surrounds us. This picture brings a powerful, emotional presence to any room, filling it with depth… and a pinch of mysterious energy.
Carolin Schmidt, known as "LaFabricarte," is a self-taught artist from Cologne who dedicates herself to abstract painting. Her techniques eschew concrete representations, instead using forms, lines, and colors to express emotions and ideas. Her works, sometimes colorful, sometimes somber, evoke strong emotional responses and invite viewers to discover their own interpretations.
