About this artwork
A jute canvas welcomes a portrait thirsty for truth leaning against the world.
The pale color of the earth, bathed in the red of the wine, leads us back to that relationship with the Mother which seems to have been interrupted.
Pastel in powder, wine and oil on a jute canvas prepared with glue and chalk give us a soft and powerful image at the same time.

« Only time will tell if it is Art, but is it important? Love will save the world. »
Carolina Moretti is an award-winning Italian painter whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France. She believes in the power of art and thinks that is mostly a form of universal communication. The act of creating has always aided Moretti in understanding, elaborating, and reflecting on life. Drawing upon her own experience, she tries to make people reflect on the contradictions of our society.
