About this artwork
My intention is to reveal the nobility of the most ordinary or neglected objects: faded flowers become elegant subjects, celebrating the fragility of existence and transforming time into a precious collaborator that beautifully patinates the material.
Sometimes the composition is so violently frozen that the subject is literally transformed into an art… object or laboratory specimen.

Switzerland
It is permeated by a singular light that wages a relentless battle with darkness.
I am fascinated by the edge of the world, when reality tips into the magnetic and the strange, when it oscillates between chiaroscuro, vibrant or almost absent colors.
It is in this tension that I confront my visions with the indistinct and that my practice unfolds.
I deliberately leave a certain amount of room for chance in the conception of my images, on the border between climax and fading away.
