German painter, draftsman, and printmaker Caroline Weiss has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout her home country. Weiss is interested in discovering the soul and mysticism behind a representation of animals, people, or landscapes, and adapts her materials and methods to each unique work. Weiss' style is naturalistic with a slight abstraction and simplification of forms. Also humorous and dreamy, Weiss' paintings feature prismatic colors and suggest stories and universes beyond the moment captured in each work.
