Carsten Westphal is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in England, Spain, and France. Fascinated by deserts, Westphal creates in the "primeval landscapes of our planet" with natural materials such as sand, small stones, sediments, salt, pigments, and acrylic binders on canvas.
