About this artwork

This painting expresses my search for order and calm while still recognizing my own need for adventure and chaos. It also recognizes there is beauty in imperfection. It has layers of paper and acrylic washes applied onto cradled wood panel. The painting appears minimal and orderly from afar but when viewed up close, there are textures and layers of paint which add interest and a sense of something beneath the surface.

This artwork ships framed and… wired for hanging. Signed on the back and comes with a handwritten thank you note from the artist. The floater frame is wood with a natural light maple finish. Unframed, the artwork itself measures 22x30in.
