About this artwork

A Golden Horizon is the kind you see at the end of a good day around sunset. It signifies warmth and an end to something yet gives hope and positivity for something more, better to come...and as always with a horizon...there is a sense of unknown things to come.

Golden Horizon is part of a new series for 2021 entitled Uncharted..although it is still ongoing and in development, Uncharted is the result of the 2020 year of personal and artistic exploration.… The purpose of this series is the exploration of things unknown as well as what we bring as individuals to that exploration. Uncharted territory may be unknown but that which is known is what we bring to it...our experiences, memories, wisdom...these things help us navigate and adapt in the Uncharted areas.

This painting is framed in a pecan-toned natural wood box floater. It is signed on both the front and the back and comes with a hand-written thank you note from the artist.
