In this work, I sought to capture the duality between human resilience and vulnerability. Using oil, I painted this intense face, which seems to emerge from a tumult of dark feathers, symbolizing the battles that each of us carries within. The dark hues contrasted by the light flashes around the face invite reflection on our own internal struggle and the strength that emanates from it.
