About this artwork
In creating this work, I sought to capture the ephemeral essence of human encounters. With acrylic and ink, I created this ballet of semi-abstract, floating silhouettes, their interactions tinged with mystery. Each line and color invites introspective contemplation, evoking bonds that both unite and liberate. Cathy Burtin is a French artist whose paintings have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. She describes her abstract works as "re-transcribing the human attitude", as well as portraying the movement of the individual, whether alone, in a couple, or in a group.
