Cathy Burtin is a French artist whose paintings have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. She describes her abstract works as "re-transcribing the human attitude", as well as portraying the movement of the individual, whether alone, in a couple, or in a group. What interests her above all is the posture. Her figurative pieces and cityscapes are created using acrylics, oils, ink, and sand on paper or canvas.
