About this artwork
Multiversos
Acrylic, LED light | 2025
The Multiversos sculpture seems to float in space, with each layer representing a different universe, all existing at the same time without ever touching. Made from translucent triangular acrylic pieces, it’s crossed by a vertical line of LED light — like a stream of energy holding everything together.
The mix of light and transparency creates shifting reflections and shadows that change as you move around… it. From every new angle, a different universe seems to appear. The soft blue tone of the acrylic adds an airy, almost magical feel, as if the piece doesn’t fully belong to this world.
Multiversos is an open invitation to imagine what lies beyond what we can see — other dimensions, alternate realities. It’s a piece that blends art, science, and feeling, gently asking: what if this is just one of endless possibilities?

Catia Goffinet employs painting to bridge the abstract concepts of mathematics with the visceral realm of emotional experience. Her works are a craft of symmetry and geometry, intertwining the precise with the profound, infusing the cosmic order into each stroke. The emotions her artworks invoke are a contemplative pause amid chaos, prompting a journey into the sublime intricacies of the universe.
