About this artwork
In this acrylic piece, I explored the interplay of shadow and light through minimalistic, geometric abstraction. Each brushstroke is a deliberate act, seeking balance and harmony. Its presence in a space is meant to evoke a sense of calm reflection, embodying the subtle yet profound shifts that shape our perspective.
Catia Goffinet
Brazil
Catia Goffinet employs painting to bridge the abstract concepts of mathematics with the visceral realm of emotional experience. Her works are a craft of symmetry and geometry, intertwining the precise with the profound, infusing the cosmic order into each stroke. The emotions her artworks invoke are a contemplative pause amid chaos, prompting a journey into the sublime intricacies of the universe.
