About this artwork
The “Timeless Venice” series was born from my gaze in love with the lagoon city, where I live.
My photographs follow a spontaneous and instinctive approach, guided by the emotion and inspiration of the moment.
As a musician and composer, I bring the same listening and the same search for inner vibrations into my shots: each image is a fragment of light and silence, an invitation to let yourself be transported by the suspended magic of Venice and… to perceive its soul beyond time.
Part of a black and white trilogy dedicated to the Venetian lagoon, where light and silence take on different forms: the triptych also includes High Tide and Etched Lagoon, three complementary visions of a timeless Venice.

I began my artistic journey as a musician and composer, trained at the Conservatory and raised on classical music, jazz and crossover genres. My compositions have always transformed inner visions into sound.
Over time, as a natural evolution of this process, I began to capture the outside world and translate it into light, color and movement. Photography became a painterly and immersive surface, where light and texture open up a sense of depth and suspended motion.
Moving through organic, cosmic and imagined worlds, my visual work reflects what lies beneath the surface: the silent breath between reality and dream, the visible and the invisible.
Music and photography are complementary expressions of the same aesthetic vision, where music becomes light and light becomes music.
