About this artwork
Una figura emerge lentamente de un campo de materia, veladuras y fragmentos de color. El rostro, suspendido en un espacio indeterminado, convive con una realidad de la que emergen manos que aparecen y se disuelven en la misma superficie pistórica, como rastros de una fuerza invisible en permanente transformación.
Desarrollé esta obra mediante un proceso intuitivo y abierto, en el que la imagen se reveló gradualmente a medida que se superponían las… capas de pintura. Lejos de describir un episodio o situación concreta, "Tribulación" explora un estado de tensión interior en el que coexisten la calma y la incertidumbre.
Los tonos cálidos, la riqueza matérica y textural y los destellos del pan de oro buscan construir una atmósfera ambigua y contemplativa. Más que una narrativa cerrada, la pintura propone un espacio de resonancia emocional, invitando a uqe cada espectador pueda habitar en ella sus propias interpretaciones.
