In the sky; Tailwind.
My series of paintings In the Sky is an exploration of dramatic cloud formations. I am fascinated by how the sky constantly offers new views. It changes all the time, and we interpret the meteorological shifts to come. We are also captivated by the beauty of cloud formations and the changes in shape and colour. We often think we can see shapes in the clouds. I think that these dramatic and heavy clouds bring to mind the Baroque… style and the ceiling murals found in old opera houses.
