About this artwork
the light is born was created on a golden cotton canvas by using multiple glitter, gold, silver and copper leaves and pigments. The golden canvas is there, beneath the painting, however I painted it all black in order to save the transformative energy of following something (or someone) that is shiny but dangerous, it pulls you into the darkness in order to ttransform you and for the internal light to be born and shining ever since.
