About this artwork
This is another in a recent series I did explores the archetype of
"The Promised Land" and how the idea is packaged and sold to us. The imagery is taken from advertisements for cruise ships and photos I took of gigantic mega malls here in Kuala Lumpur. The title is a play on the name of mall nearby my studio that's located next to one of the most polluted rivers in the earth,
