About this artwork
Brave as a Bear
I watched the film "Where'd you go, Bernadette?" (2019)
Inspiration came from the female character Bernadette who is an architect
starred by Cate Blanchett finds herself creating again after realising what
makes her be herself, what makes her feel alive.
She went through depression and tried drugs to overcome her anxiety and
insomnia which didn't help much. This was due to her creativity not being
supported. However,… once her passion for architecture which she has loved
doing in her life before being a mother, has been reignited, the magic of
healing power has begun. She became herself again.
So I ask you all,
What makes you feel alive?
What makes you who you are?
What makes you passionate?
