About this artwork
On the one hand, Natural Integration tells the story of nature reclaiming its space, on the other hand, it is a call to us humans to reintegrate nature into our lives and appreciate it.

What is inside what is outside, because what is inside is outside - this quote inspired me in the time of Corona and staying inside. With this work, I wanted to depict a certain spatiality, which shows a kind of interior space in the exterior… space. In times of Covid-19 we have to stay within our four walls, in the best weather. A longing for nature is spreading and the desire to fill your lungs with fresh air and breathe deeply is great. For fear of being infected, the breaths become more superficial. This image is meant to represent all of these thoughts and more in an abstracted way.
