About this artwork
I created this piece from a place where words failed. Alienation is a visual confession of the vast, vibrating distance that can exist between us, even when we are standing in the same room."
In this work, I explored the psychological landscape of isolation. The composition is split: a lone silhouette on the left is separated from the pair on the right by a chaotic, atmospheric void. This center space is filled with aggressive, sweeping strokes… and a saturated red "noise" that represents the internal static—the unsaid thoughts, the passion, and the trauma—that often obscures our ability to truly reach one another.
The glaze represents the heavy, slow reality of our lived experiences.
The spray paint represents the sudden, sharp impulses of the heart.

Because I work within accessible formats due to my disability, I focus on transforming medium-scale canvases into vast emotional fields. I achieve this through:
