My work is a continual search for light — not only the light we see, but the light we feel.
Over time, my paintings have transformed from the structured, faceted forms of my earlier figurative work into increasingly open worlds of atmosphere, movement and emotion. Each collection has been a step in that journey: breaking apart form, softening edges, letting colour speak louder than line.
I am drawn to those fleeting moments where darkness gives way — the glow beyond a storm, the last warmth of a fading sky, the quiet energy held within colour itself. Through layers, texture, transparency and movement, I chase that fragile meeting place between shadow and illumination.
Each painting reveals something new, leading me further away from simply representing the world and closer to capturing its atmosphere, memory and light.
