About this artwork
An abstract sculpture that follows a procedure similar to the creation of an abstract painting.
Subconscious creation and assemblage that uses as elements of an abstract carved wood and a rusty metal panel.
In the carving of the wood, a rhythm was followed on the final cut of the horizontal lines.
The element in front is the secondary as the core of this assemblage is the beauty of the rust. The rusted natural painting has as human intervention… an added green tone on the gray color of the panel. Metaphorically people also rust, but this is the beauty of evolution.
Rust is what makes us beautiful.
The rusty element is varnished and protected from extra moisture but it is alive and as the title says, the beauty of the change, like everything in life, is possible to continue...
The placing of the elements is an optical proposition and can be altered if the observer feels that a separation of the two elements energizes other feelings. This must be a quality of that creation.
