« My paintings express what I see. Since everyone sees things differently, I need to express myself through a point (the object of painting ), so that everyone can see together. »
Charles Choi is an award-winning artist based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in China and Iran. He believes that anything can be a painting's subject matter, in so far that he is able to return to the piece itself, keeping in mind the principles of color, composition, plane, and texture. Choi creates in a concrete expressionist style through observation. He favors using oils on canvas.
