In crafting this surreal digital tableau, I envisioned a whimsical escape—giraffes standing in for tired souls yearning for a break from the mundane. Their elongated necks craning towards historic, vibrant facades under a mosaic sky, symbolize our own stretching ambitions and desires for the extraordinary amidst the ordinary. This piece channels a harmony of dream-like curiosity and bold color splashes, aiming to invigorate any space with a burst… of imaginative freedom and joyful serenity.
Charley Brindley began his artistic career twenty years ago when he drew illustrations for his 26 novels. These first pictures were primitive black and white drawings, with little depth or drama, but they did help generate more book sales.
Over the years his art improved as he learned to use apps to add color and better definition. Four years ago he began creating digital art. This was a slow process because of the steep learning curve, just as there is with any task with multiple elements to be mastered.
Now, with hundreds of digital book illustrations completed, his art has reached a professional level.
